Dan Perjovschi - For the Moment

The title of the exhibition of Dan Perjovschi – For the Moment – describes very well the way he works. Perjovschi is an indefatigable commentator on current social events. His black and white drawings reflect on everyday reality, but also on important political issues. Currently the most pressing issue of European politics – the refugee crisis – is the theme of the author's drawings presented in the gallery Artwall. Perjovschi comments on the situation of refugees, our perspective on them and the EU positions. The exhibition can be also seen as an appeal to humanity at the time of Christmas.

Dan Perjovschi is a master of shortcuts. He captures complicated ideas in simple lines and often mediates serious subjects through humor and satire. "Perjovschi's work in its universality is accessible to a wide audience. Artwall Gallery presents his works in the public space and mediates them to an audience beyond the art scene,” says one of the curators of the gallery Artwall Lenka Kukurová.

About the author:
